BALLA was created through a collaboration with experienced podiatrists Bevan Damm and Philip Hartshorne and has been clinically researched/designed to target factors that contribute to falling, tripping or slipping whilst walking. BALLA improves balance and walking stability, thus reducing chances of falling.
The upper leathers have been chosen carefully to be soft, yet supportive and the upper designs have been developed with a number of specific features to improve balance during walking. These boots have fixed, elasticised laces, a side zip opening and a velcro ankle closure. They provide easy access for getting on and off, whilst hugging your feet in soft yet supportive materials.
BALLA is fitted with Ziera’s SUPER SUPPORT footbed made from shock absorbing PU with arch support, metatarsal cushioning and a contoured heel cup (with a wider, deeper fit ) promoting added stability.The textile footbed cover features aTPU dimpled sock, especially designed to improve walking and movement. This insole is removable to fit our own orthotics if required.
