This shoe is very generous in width and depth the ‘medium’ width is in fact fairly wide. This is a very strong, well constructed shoe with a mild rocker sole to assist heel to toe walking. The heel counter is strong, providing great medial and lateral ( side to side) stability for unstable feet and ankles. The moulded cork innersole is removable creating significantly more depth, great for those with a bulky orthotic or with extra wide feet or a very high instep.
